What gives Pokemon cards value?
EnvassalingTier路7 months agoThe value of Pokemon cards is like a special sauce with many ingredients. Rarity is the big one; the harder to find, the more it's worth. Condition matters a ton too; mint condition cards fetch higher prices. Don't forget about demand, which can shoot up for cards used in competitive play or those with nostalgic value. Oh, and limited edition or special promotional cards? They're like gold dust.

From personal experience, I lucked out finding a rare card at a garage sale once. Paid pennies, but it was worth hundreds because it was a limited edition promo card. Rarity and condition, that's the game.
Value? It's all about the hype. Some cards are just popular because everyone says so. Then everyone wants them, and boom, prices go up.
