In Mortal Kombat 9, Raiden sends a warning to his past self to prevent Armageddon. In MKX, we see the aftermath and a new generation of fighters. Story arcs continue, with baddies like Shinnok causing trouble. Sub-Zero and Scorpion even become friends. Time travel shenanigans, basically!

MK9 ends with Raiden rebooting the timeline, and MKX explores the consequences with new and returning characters battling it out. Simple as that.

The timeline got rebooted in MK9, and MKX picks up from there with new baddies and heroes. Less confusion, more action!

MK9's ending reset the timeline, leading to MKX where new fighters join the fray against a resurrected Shinnok.

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
