Between seasons 1 and 2, Thorfinn's life takes a dramatic turn. After Askeladd's death, Thorfinn gets sold into slavery, and he faces a new struggle to find purpose without revenge driving him.
Honestly, not much happens except Thorfinn gets enslaved. Season 2 starts with him in a pretty rough spot.
Season 1 ends with a bang: Askeladd's epic demise. Season 2 picks up with Thorfinn as a slave, trying to figure out his next move in life.
