What happened in the Blank Century in One Piece?
The Blank Century, or Void Century, is a mysterious 100-year gap in the world's history, from 900 to 800 years before the current events of One Piece. Not much is known because the World Government prohibits research into this period. It's believed that a great kingdom existed which was erased from history, and the Poneglyphs, indecipherable stones, contain information about this lost era. The true events of the Void Century remain one of the series' biggest mysteries, closely tied to the treasure One Piece and the story's endgame.

Honestly, nobody outside of the One Piece creator and his team really knows what went down during the Blank Century. It's one of the biggest unsolved mysteries of the series. Speculation is all over the place, but it's all part of the charm of following the story. Can't wait till Oda finally reveals it all!
It's all hush-hush because the World Government doesn't want anyone digging into it. The Blank Century probably has some dirt on them that they don't want out in the open. Classic conspiracy vibes.
