At the end of Undertale, Asriel realizes his mistakes, apologizes, and helps the protagonist. Then he transforms back into a kid.
He's back to being a little kid and has to live with the consequences of his actions. Tough love, right?
Asriel reverts back to his child form and loses his god-like powers. He then breaks the Barrier, freeing all the monsters!
Honestly, he just goes back to being a cute goat child and the game leaves you with all the feels.
