Nuclear Winter got axed. Just wasn't hitting the mark for players or Bethesda.

Had a blast in Nuclear Winter, but Bethesda pulled the plug. They wanted to steer the ship towards more engaging content for everyone. Makes sense, but I'll miss the chaos!

Oh, the Battle Royale mode in Fallout 76, known as Nuclear Winter, got vaulted! Basically, Bethesda decided to shut it down in September 2021. They realized that this mode wasn't as popular as they hoped, and they wanted to focus on updates and new content that resonated more with the majority of the player base. So, RIP Nuclear Winter. But hey, on the bright side, there's still lots of other cool content to explore in Appalachia!

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
