Nothing drastic has happened to Hot Wheels, they're still going strong! Hot Wheels has been a top toy brand for decades, and they continue to pump out those awesome diecast cars and wild racetracks. They've actually expanded their product line to include more digital experiences and collaborations with various car manufacturers and entertainment franchises. Definitely still a hit with both kids and collectors!
