What happened to Hot Wheels Showdown?
Oh, Hot Wheels Showdown, that takes me back! Basically, it was an app game that let you scan your Hot Wheels cars and race them in the game. Super cool concept, right? But, like all good things, it came to an end. The game was officially shut down and is no longer available to play or download. Seems like it just didn't keep up with the times or maybe it was part of their strategy to make room for new stuff. RIP Hot Wheels Showdown, you're missed.

Honestly, Hot Wheels Showdown wasn't that great. There are tons of other Hot Wheels games and toys out there. No big loss.
They pulled the plug! Hot Wheels Showdown was fun while it lasted but it's gone now, no longer in app stores. Everything moves on, I guess.
I used to play Hot Wheels Showdown all the time with my collection. It was sad to see it go. The game let you scan your cars and race them on virtual tracks. Not sure why they discontinued it, but it was a unique way to bring the toys to life. Haven鈥檛 found anything quite like it since.
