Ritsu got psychic powers, fought some bad guys, and his relationship with Mob improved a lot. Simple as that.

Ritsu ends up developing his own psychic powers and becomes a crucial ally to Mob. He goes from living in his brother's shadow to stepping into the spotlight himself.

Honestly, seeing Ritsu go from feeling inferior to Mob to becoming a strong and confident psychic in his own right was one of the best parts of the show!
