Haise Sasaki (Kaneki) and his squad fight him later on, and it's super emotional seeing how much he's changed. His transformation into a ghoul really messes with his mind and makes him a tragic character.

Takizawa got captured by Aogiri Tree and turned into a half-ghoul through some pretty intense and brutal experimentation. He becomes known as Takizawa, The Owl, and definitely isn't the same person he used to be.

He becomes a major antagonist after being tortured and turned into a half-ghoul. Definitely one of the darker moments in the series.
