Alexey Pajitnov, the creator of Tetris, is still around and kicking! He initially didn't make money from Tetris due to Soviet laws, but he later co-founded The Tetris Company and finally reaped the rewards of his iconic creation.

Alexey Pajitnov designed Tetris while working for the Soviet Academy of Sciences. He later moved to the U.S. in the '90s and continues to work in the game industry. Talk about a real-life level-up!

Alexey Pajitnov went from making Tetris in Soviet Russia to eventually moving to America. These days, he's a game industry veteran and legend. Can't beat that classic glow-up!

He's chillin' in the U.S. and still involved in the gaming world. Talk about success, right?

If you're a Tetris player looking for extra power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Tetris essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
