As someone who followed the series religiously, I can tell you: the parasite gets obliterated along with Eren in the climactic final battle. No more Titans, no more parasite!
The parasite, often referred to as the 'source of all living matter,' merges with Eren in the final arc but is eventually destroyed by Mikasa when she decapitates Eren. RIP parasite!
