At the end of Sword Art Online Alicization, Kirito and Asuna finally defeat Gabriel Miller and the Dark Territory forces. They get trapped in the Underworld for 200 years, but don't worry! Time in the Underworld moves much faster, so they eventually return to the real world. Phew!

As someone who watched it live, I can confirm Kirito and Asuna get trapped in the Underworld for what feels like an eternity, but they make it back to the real world eventually. Emotional rollercoaster!

Kirito wakes up after a long coma and, with the help of his friends, defeats the final villain. He and Asuna then spend 200 years in the Underworld before being rescued. Crazy stuff!
