If you don't defend a settlement in Fallout 4, the attackers might kill settlers and damage or steal resources. Your settlement happiness will also take a hit, and it may take some time and resources to repair everything and get that happiness back up. So, it's like leaving your in-game pets unattended - things definitely could get messy.

Nothing major, really. You might lose some resources, and a few settlers might get grumpy, but it's not the end of the world. You can always just rebuild and patch things up. Fallout 4 settlements are kinda forgiving like that. It's not like the settlers are gonna rage-quit on you.

Honestly, just let them take it. Some settlements are more hassle than they're worth. Focus on beefing up your main base and let the raiders have their fun elsewhere. #TeamLazyGamer

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
