When you switch your buddy, your progress toward earning candy for the original buddy pauses, but don’t worry, you’ll pick up right where you left off if you switch back.

If you switch buddies often, your progress for gathering candies and increasing friendship hearts might slow down since each buddy's progress is tracked separately.

You lose nothing permanent by switching buddies. You just start working on the new buddy for candy and hearts.

Switching buddies in Pokemon GO resets your daily walking distance, but you keep any hearts and progress you've already earned for each buddy!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
