Went back in time once in Animal Crossing, and my turnips turned into a get-rich-never scheme. RIP to my stalk market dreams.

Time traveling backwards in Animal Crossing is like stepping into a virtual time machine, but without all the cool future tech. Basically, your villagers might get a bit miffed at you for being MIA, you'll spot weeds sprouting up like it's their job, and if you've got turnips, wave goodbye 'cause they'll spoil faster than milk in the sun. On the upside, it's like having a redo button on any events or special visitors you missed!

Honestly, time travel in Animal Crossing isn't worth it. Sure, you can catch that fish or bug you missed, but the chaos with spoiled turnips and upset villagers? Just play in real time, trust me.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
