In my opinion, Tokyo Ghoul:re just adds more layers of complexity and drama to Kaneki鈥檚 already turbulent life.
So, Kaneki gets amnesia, joins the CCG as Haise Sasaki, fights new baddies, and eventually his past catches up with him. Buckle up!
