In MTG Arena, when you get duplicate cards that you already have the maximum number of copies allowed in a deck (which is four for most cards), the game automatically converts these extra copies into Vault progress. Once the Vault is full, you can open it to get Wildcards, which you can use to get any card you want. It's a neat system to make sure duplicates still feel rewarding!

Honestly, duplicates in Arena are not as exciting as pulling that rare card you've been eyeing, but at least they contribute to Vault progress. I've opened the Vault a few times, and those Wildcards come in clutch for building new decks.

Duplicate cards? No worries! They turn into progress for something called 'The Vault' - crack it open for Wildcards!

Duplicates are just Vault fodder, nothing more. Prefer actual cards any day.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
