I鈥檝e played both, and while the PS3 had more raw power, many developers found it easier to get the best out of the Xbox 360鈥檚 architecture. So, it鈥檚 kind of a tie.
Xbox 360 had some games that looked a tad better due to easier programming, but overall, PS3's hardware had more potential.
From my experience, PS3 exclusives like Uncharted and The Last of Us showcased better graphics than most Xbox 360 games.
