The world would be constantly under threat from alien invaders, androids, and other powerful beings, but on the plus side, we'd have the Dragon Balls to fix everything!
As someone who's spent years watching DBZ, I'd say humanity would spend a lot of time building and rebuilding cities, but hey, it would be worth it for the epic battles!
If DBZ was real, I'd totally have my dog learn the Kamehameha Wave... just saying.
