Sachi surviving could've meant a stronger bond within the Black Cats guild and possibly a different outcome in boss fights. Kirito鈥檚 character development would鈥檝e taken a different path.
Sachi surviving would make Kirito less of a loner and more of a team player, changing his dynamic with Asuna and others.
It wouldn't have had the same impact. Her death was crucial for Kirito's growth.
Sachi living means less drama, less emotional baggage, and less Kirito stoicism. Maybe SAO would've been more like a VR slice-of-life?
