Lethal Company draws its inspiration from the survival horror and cooperative gameplay genres. The game brilliantly blends the eerie atmosphere of classic horror with the need for teamwork and strategy, evident in successful co-op games. The setting on desolate industrial moons with a looming automated threat adds a unique sci-fi twist, pushing players to work together while managing resources and avoiding dangers. Definitely feels like the devs were fans of both horror classics and intense co-op missions and wanted to create something that honors both!

Lethal Company is like if someone mashed up the horror from games like Dead Space with the co-op necessity of Left 4 Dead, but then set it in space on creepy moons. The devs were clearly inspired by the best parts of survival horror and teamwork dynamics.

Honestly, the whole vibe of Lethal Company screams survival horror meets sci-fi nightmare. It's like they took inspiration from every 'trapped in space with monsters' movie ever.
