The Dalmatian is a highly sought-after pet because of its rarity. I'd say it's worth around a Neon Unicorn or a Neon Dragon in trades.
IMO, the Dalmatian isn't worth as much as people think. I've seen them traded for just one legendary pet like a Fly Ride Griffin.
I traded my Dalmatian for a Golden Egg, and it seemed like a fair trade. They're rare but not impossible to get if you're persistent!
