A damage counter in Pokemon TCG represents the damage a Pokemon has received in battle. Think of it like keeping score of how hurt your Pokemon is. Each damage counter typically equals 10 damage, so if your Pikachu has 3 damage counters, it's taken 30 damage. It’s a way to visually track how much more damage your Pokemon can take before it’s knocked out!

Damage counters? They're just lil' tokens or markers you put on your Pokemon cards in the game to show they've been hit. Super simple. Just slap one on for every 10 damage your Pokemon takes. No actual slapping involved, please.

Honestly, just a piece of plastic or cardboard to make the game more complicated. You can track damage with anything - coins, beans, whatever.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
