The dodo bird is currently worth around a legendary pet or two ultra-rare pets in Adopt Me. It's a pretty decent trade if you ask me!
From my experience, the dodo bird trades well for other legendary pets like the T-Rex or sometimes a fly ride pet if you're lucky.
I traded my dodo bird for a dragon and a neon unicorn, so you can definitely get some legendary pets if you haggle right!
