A new mint Pokemon card is pretty much like a fresh, never-been-touched, straight-outta-the-pack card. It's in perfect condition with no wear or damage. Collectors go nuts for these because they're as perfect as you can get – think crisp edges, no bends or creases, and super shiny if it's a holo. It's the gold standard for collectors!

New mint is just an overhyped way to say a card is in good shape. Sure, it's nice, but a card's real value is in the nostalgia and the battles it's seen. Just saying.

Essentially, if a Pokemon card is labeled as 'new mint,' it means it's in tip-top condition. Like, it just left the factory and hasn't seen the light of day aside from being in a pack or a carefully curated collection. No scratches, no dents, pristine!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
