You bury it in the ground, and then when someone (or you, if you're not careful) runs over it, they fall into a hole that temporarily traps them. It's all in good fun and adds a hilariously cheeky element to the game. Just don't drop one near your favorite villager's house, or you might not be their favorite human anymore!
