A reprinted Pokemon card is basically a card that's been officially reissued by the Pokemon Company after its initial release. Think of it like a classic album getting a remastered vinyl release. They might update the card's artwork or tweak its mechanics to fit the current game meta, but it's essentially the same card at heart, giving new players a chance to snag older, potentially iconic cards for their decks.

Reprints are those old Pokemon cards you missed out on, coming back so you can finally grab 'em without selling a kidney online. Same awesome Pokemon, sometimes with a fresh coat of paint or a new sparkle, but made for the modern game.

Honestly, reprints are just a way for the company to make more money off the same card. Sure, it's cool for newer players, but it kinda dilutes the uniqueness of having an 'original' card from way back when.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
