Short and sweet: it's a counter that makes your creature immune to destruction. But don't forget, exile and -1/-1 counters are still your enemy!

An indestructible counter in MTG is basically what it sounds like – it's a marker you put on a creature to show it can't be destroyed by damage or any effects that say "destroy." Remember though, it can still be removed from the battlefield through being exiled, bounced back to the hand, or having its toughness reduced to 0.

From personal experience, slapping an indestructible counter on your beefiest creature feels like you're giving it an ironclad armor. Nothing's more satisfying than seeing your opponent's face when they realize their "destroy all creatures" spell does absolutely nothing to your indestructible monster.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
