Aristocrats in MTG refers to a deck archetype that thrives on sacrificing your own creatures for profit. The name comes from two cards, 'Cartel Aristocrat' and 'Falkenrath Aristocrat,' which were part of a popular deck when they were in Standard format. The strategy involves using creatures that either benefit from being sacrificed or provide a benefit when another creature dies. The goal is to create a loop of sacrificing and recursion that provides value and eventually overwhelms the opponent.

Aristocrats is basically a sacrifice party where you get to win by throwing your own creatures into the volcano. The more you sacrifice, the stronger you get鈥攌ind of like making a deal with a very dark and twisted fairy.

It's all about sacrificing creatures for the greater good (AKA winning the game). Use creatures that don't mind being thrown under the bus, because they either come back or make something good happen when they leave.
