It's basically for making stuff blow up and look cool. Gunpowder = ammo, simple as that.

Coal in Fallout 76 is super handy for crafting. You'll need it for creating gunpowder, which is pretty much essential if you're into making your own ammo. Also, it's used in some crafting recipes for power armor mods, and even for certain events like the Fasnacht Day event where you gotta burn stuff. Keep an eye out for coal deposits during your wasteland wanderings!

Don't forget, coal is not just for crafting. It's also a tradable resource. Sometimes you'll find players who are willing to trade useful items for it, especially if they're running low and in a crafting pinch.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
