DOT, or Damage Over Time, is pretty much what it sounds like—damage that hits an enemy over a series of turns instead of all at once. Not flashy, but oh-so-satisfying when you see those health bars dwindle down without having to lift a finger.

DOT? It's your best friend in long fights. Basically, it's like setting up a timer on your enemy's health bar. As time ticks, so does their HP. Perfect for those who like to plan their attacks meticulously.

DOT in Honkai Star Rail stands for Damage Over Time. Essentially, it's the kind of damage that gets dealt to enemies not in one chunk, but gradually over a period. Think of it like poison or a burn that slowly chips away an enemy's health. Super useful for tough battles!

Not all that into DOT. I mean, yeah, it's handy and all, but give me a big, instant damage hit over a slow burn any day. Sometimes, you just want to see things go boom, you know?
