Family View on Steam is essentially a parental control feature. It lets you limit what parts of Steam can be accessed, which is super handy if you want to keep the kiddos away from inappropriate content or make sure they're not spending all day gaming instead of doing homework. You can restrict access to certain games, the Steam Store, friends lists, and more. It's like giving them the keys to the car but making sure they can only drive in the neighborhood.

Not a fan of Family View, tbh. Feels like it's easier just to monitor your kids directly rather than fiddle with settings.

Family View on Steam? Oh, it's like the digital equivalent of childproofing your cabinets, but for PC gaming. Locks away the stuff you don't want the little ones seeing or messing with. Easy to set up too!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
