FSR on the Steam Deck stands for 'FidelityFX Super Resolution', a tech developed by AMD to boost the gaming performance. It scales up games from a lower resolution to make them look better without hammering the performance. Basically, it helps your games run smoother and look crisper on the Steam Deck's screen, giving you a better mobile gaming experience.

It's AMD's magic sauce to make games run better on the Steam Deck. FSR = better frame rates without sacrificing too much on the graphics quality. Absolute game-changer for handheld gaming if you ask me.

FSR? Overhyped. Just play your games without it and enjoy the raw performance. Sometimes, old school is the way to go.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
