In Honkai Star Rail, 'hard pity' is the system that guarantees you'll snag a high-rarity character or item after a certain number of unsuccessful attempts or pulls in the gacha system. Basically, if luck hasn't been on your side, hard pity kicks in after 80 to 90 pulls (depends on the event banner) to give you that much-awaited high-rarity drop. So, keep track of your pulls, because the Astral Express has a pity stop!

Short version: Hard pity in Honkai Star Rail means if you've had no luck getting top-tier characters after 80-90 pulls, the game throws you a bone and guarantees you one. It's the light at the end of the tunnel!

Gotta say, hard pity saved my gameplay. Was almost ready to throw in the towel when, after 85 pulls, BAM! Got the character I was dreaming of. So yeah, it's real and a game-changer.

If you're a Honkai Star Rail player looking for extra shards or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Honkai Star Rail essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
