Lethal Company isn't directly based on one specific thing, but it pulls inspiration from classic survival horror elements and cooperative gameplay. Think of it as a blend of the teamwork-focused dynamics you see in games like Left 4 Dead, with the tension and scare factors of games like Alien: Isolation. Add in a dash of resource management, and you've got a unique, intense survival experience.

Honestly, Lethal Company feels like its own thing. Sure, it has that familiar survival horror vibe, but the emphasis on co-op and scavenging resources in a sci-fi setting gives it a unique spin. So, not based off anything specific, but it sure borrows some cool ideas from the genre.

It's all about teamwork and scares. Think Left 4 Dead meets Alien: Isolation in space, but with more focus on scraping by with what you find. Not based on a movie or book, but it feels like it could fit right in with the classics.
