What Is Local Play in Animal Crossing?
Honestly, local play is overrated. Just use online play and make friends from around the world. Why limit yourself to the couch next door?

Local Play in Animal Crossing lets you connect with friends nearby who also have a Switch and the game. It's awesome cause you can visit each other's islands, trade items, or just explore together. No internet needed, so you can still play even if your Wi-Fi is being a pain.
Local play was a game changer for me and my siblings. We'd each work on our islands during the week and then gather around to visit each other's places on the weekend. It turned a solo game into a family event, 10/10 would recommend if you've got a few Switches in the house.
Local play in Animal Crossing is pretty much the coolest sleepover you never had. It's like inviting your friends over to your virtual island without the need to tidy up your real room. You and your friends need their own Nintendo Switch and a copy of the game, and bam! You're ready to show off your island, help each other out, or just chill and catch bugs together. It's all the fun of hanging out minus the need to share your snacks.
