Actually, the first ever Funko Pop wasn't a specific character from pop culture but Freddy Funko, the brand's own mascot! So if you're starting a collection, that's where the whole craze began.

The number 1 Funko Pop is the very first figure they ever released: Freddy Funko! It was the beginning of what would become an insanely popular and ever-growing line of collectibles. Freddy is the Funko company's mascot, and this particular figure set the stage for the thousands of Pops that would follow.

Honestly, don't sweat about the first Funko Pop too much. Just collect what you love! That being said, Freddy Funko is where it all started.

If you're a Funko Pop player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
