Pb stands for Lead, it's a heavy metal with the atomic number 82. Fun fact: the symbol comes from its Latin name, Plumbum!

Pb is Lead, atomic number 82. It's used in batteries, shielding from radiation, and once in gasoline. Not in water pipes though, please!
