I've had great luck with the Soviet tanks. The T-34 is fast and deadly, and the IS series are practically rolling fortresses. Those things can take a beating and keep on fighting!
British tanks are underrated. They have excellent gun depression and a mix of well-armored and fast vehicles. Give the Centurions a try!
