As someone who read all 23 volumes, I can say it's an emotional rollercoaster with a satisfying conclusion. Muzan meets his end, and Tanjiro succeeds in his quest.
Spoiler alert! Tanjiro nearly turns into a demon himself, but his friends and sister pull him back from the brink. Muzan is defeated, and peace is restored.
In the end, Tanjiro and his friends confront Muzan in an epic battle. After a fierce fight, they manage to defeat him, and Nezuko is finally cured of her demon curse. The world is saved, and the Demon Slayer Corps disbands.
