Oh, the diamond symbol in MTG? That's the symbol for colorless mana. It was introduced with the Oath of the Gatewatch set. Unlike the other mana symbols that represent colors (white, blue, black, red, green), the diamond represents colorless mana that can be used without any color requirements. Pretty cool addition to the game!

It's just colorless mana, fam. Not that deep but super useful for Eldrazi decks.

As a long-time MTG player, I can tell you the diamond symbol threw us for a loop when it first appeared. It's for colorless mana, which is different from generic mana costs. Specific cards require this type of mana, making it a strategic resource in certain decks.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
