So, in the world of Pokemon TCG, 'Standard' and 'Expanded' are two different formats for how you can play the game. Standard format includes only the most recent sets of cards, usually the ones from the last couple of years. This keeps the game fresh and evolving. Expanded, on the other hand, allows for a much wider range of cards, going back several years. This means you can pull out some old favorites and mix them with new strategies!

Standard format = newer cards. Expanded format = a lot more cards from way back. Keeps things spicy!

As someone who's been playing for years, the main diff is that Standard keeps changing with new sets, so you gotta keep up. Expanded lets me use almost any card I've collected over the years, which is super cool for trying out different combos.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
