Honestly, the Deluxe Edition mostly gives you bragging rights with some cool skins and possibly early game access. If you're not into cosmetics, the standard version will do just fine.
Deluxe Edition = Fancy extras. Think exclusive outfits for your wizard and maybe a magical creature or two that the standard edition folks don't get. Basically, the game's the same, but you look cooler doing it.
Deluxe is not worth the extra cash unless you REALLY love cosmetics. Standard edition has all the gameplay you need.
