Yakuza 0 is a prequel set in the 1980s, exploring Kazuma Kiryu's early days in the yakuza, while Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of the first Yakuza game, focusing on Kiryu's return to the yakuza scene after a decade in prison. Basically, 0 sets the stage, Kiwami kicks off the main saga!

Yakuza 0 is like the awesome 80s origin story for Kiryu and Majima, while Yakuza Kiwami is the souped-up, HD remaster of the original game. If you want the full story, start with 0 and then roll into Kiwami!

Kiwami means 'extreme' or 'ultimate,' and it shows. Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of the original Yakuza with updated gameplay and graphics.

Play Yakuza 0 first, then Kiwami. It's like eating dinner before dessert.

Yakuza 0 is where you get to see Majima's crazy breakdancing combat style. Kiwami, not so much!
