The series ends with Goku defeating Omega Shenron using the Universal Spirit Bomb and then disappearing with Shenron. We see a tearful farewell, and 100 years later, Goku's descendant Goku Jr. competes in a martial arts tournament. It’s a bittersweet but satisfying end!
