What is the Font Inside Pokemon Cards?
AutocancellingWeek·7 months agoHonestly, it's like a secret recipe; they never officially disclosed it. But squinting at my collection, it’s definitely a clean, sans-serif type for the body. Looks a lot like Gill Sans or something similar. For card titles, they spice it up a bit, but still in the sans-serif family.

It's not standard; different parts of the card might use different fonts. But for the main text, think simple, readable sans-serif. Like if Gill Sans had a Pokemon evolution.
Gill Sans wannabe, mostly. They keep it clean and legible, which is all we can really ask for.
So, the font used inside Pokemon cards for the text isn't just one font but a mix, mainly depending on the card's section. Most text, like descriptions and attacks, uses a sans-serif font similar to 'Gill Sans' for readability. Titles and names might get a different, slightly more stylized treatment to stand out!
