Actually, the 'real' last mission varies by player. 'The Nuclear Option' might technically end the main storyline, but side quests and exploration can keep you busy for ages after.

It's 'The Nuclear Option' for sure. After you decide which group is your fav, this quest is your grand finale to stick it to the Institute. Pretty epic!

The last main quest in Fallout 4 is called 'The Nuclear Option.' Which faction leads you to this mission depends on who you side with towards the end of the game. If you're with the Minutemen, Brotherhood of Steel, or Railroad, you'll get a version of 'The Nuclear Option' tailored to that faction's goals. The mission involves infiltrating the Institute, planting a bomb, and blowing it sky high. Talk about going out with a bang!
