The holy grail of Pokemon cards is the Pikachu Illustrator card. Only a handful of these were given out as prizes in a 1998 CoroCoro Comic contest, making them incredibly rare and valuable. If you've got one of these in mint condition, you're sitting on a treasure chest!

Honestly, it's all about the Pikachu Illustrator card. Super rare, super valuable.

Don't forget about the first edition Charizard from the Base Set. While the Pikachu Illustrator might take top prize for rarity, a mint condition 1st Edition Charizard can fetch a hefty price too, especially if it's graded a perfect 10 by PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator). I personally know someone who sold one and paid off their car!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
