Hands down, the rarest Hot Wheels car has got to be the 1969 Pink Rear-Loading Volkswagen Beach Bomb. This little gem is the unicorn of Hot Wheels, with only a couple known to exist. It was a prototype that never went into full production because it was too top-heavy for the race tracks. So, if you ever stumble upon one at a garage sale, you've hit the jackpot!

Pink Beach Bomb, end of story. My uncle claims he had one; sounds like a fish tale, but if it's true, that's like having a winning lottery ticket collecting dust in his attic!

Actually, it's the 1971 Purple Olds 442. Don't get me wrong, the Pink Beach Bomb is rare, but the Olds 442 in purple takes it to another level of scarcity. Only a few are known to exist, making it a holy grail among collectors.
